Speaking during a women empowerment and inclusivity panel, Gabrielle Union discussed navigating professional difficulties.

She says, "Don’t allow them to call you angry when someone else is called passionate. It’s terrifying. There’s a solid chance you’ll lose your job … I speak from experience."

She also had advice for those in attendance when dealing with insensitive executives, saying, "Do your best because corporations want global dollars. Do your best to try to hold the door open and hold people responsible. Yeah, I’m asking you to do the impossible … I’m fully aware that job loss is on the table … but if you’re not doing it, nobody is."

Gabrielle Union has opened up about her dismissal from the America's Got Talent judging panel soon after it was announced that she, and fellow judge Julianne Hough, would not be returning to the popular show after just one season - leaving fans to speculate over Gabrielle's reason for dismissal.

Following rumours of a disagreement with bosses and a "toxic atmosphere" on set, Gabrielle took to Twitter to thank fans for their continued support in the following tweet:

And while Gabrielle didn't address the NBC show directly, she went on to like a tweet from a reporter who mentioned she'd been fired from the franchise.
