It’s definitely no secret that Instagram, or social media in general can be a rather toxic space, often leaving you feeling drained after just a few taps or scrolls. Yet unfortunately- it remains something we can’t help but check every so often (or maybe more than every so often). It’s easy to fall into an unhealthy cycle.

Sometimes we create our own toxicity by willingly exposing ourselves to things that make us feel bad, like checking if someone specific viewed your story yet or carefully stalking your ex’s new girlfriend’s profile so you don’t accidentally like her picture from 68 weeks ago. Totally not speaking from experience here- nope.
We’ve created my own little version of a “social media cleanse” and believe following these accounts could make you feel good amidst all the chaos and YouTuber tea. It’s so refreshing to stumble upon a post that makes your day, or even just a few minutes of it, a little bit brighter. 10 out of 10 we would recommend.
