I didn't have difficult hair or anything, but despite explaining to someone what I wanted and showing them a picture, I almost never got what I really wanted.
One time I walked into a hairdresser that someone had recommended, I picked a look out of one of her magazines and I ended up walking out with a straight bob, I was horrified and so was my boyfriend (it was that bad, yes), yet I shutted up, paid and fixed it myself later.
One day, about a year ago, after I went through a rather drastic and painful change in my love life, I walked into a hairdresser, which I had only just discovered and asked them to chop it all off (I had pretty long hair at that time).
The staff was wonderful, so friendly and helpful, the hairdresser asked questions and didn't judge my decision of getting rid of my hair. I walked out there feeling and looking like a million bucks!
I have since gone there every 2nd month, in fact I actually get excited for it now and even sometimes let the hairdresser have free reign on colour because I just know that I'm going to look like a supermodel. They really make the experience so pleasant!
