Here's how the UK's 'first secure hair salon' plans to keep Covid-19 at bay when it reopens

Dubbed the UK's first secure hair salon, the salon in Amersham, England, has put in new procedures ahead of selected business reopening from 4 July. 

This salon is preparing for reopening with new protective measures against Covid-19 by using PPE, screens and cleaning of tools.

The hairstylists will be dressed in full PPE including an apron, face mask, visor and gloves. Customers will also receive PPE on arrival.

All tools will be sanitised with antibacterial spray between customers and Perspex screens will be used during washing and styling.

The salon will also no longer accept cash, making use of card payments. In addition to this, floor markings will be used to ensure social distancing is maintained.
