"I accidentally dyed my hair orange 2 days before a wedding"

I used a hair colour out of the box. The result was a little bit lighter than I wanted, and did not show up the red colour.

Stupidly, I tried to make it darker.

I used another colour on top of it and it turned orange! I was in a terrible state because two days later I was supposed to go to a wedding.

I looked too ghastly for words. I was ready to cry. It was not the manufacturer's fault as I tried to improve on it and it did not work out.

I should have left it in the first place and not fiddled around with another colour.

I then had to go to the hairdresser to have the colour stripped and it was a lot better, but it cost a fortune.

It goes to show one must not try to improve on things.

It was very scary.
