Adding to her many talents and achievements including being a three-time world all-around champion - winning more world championship medals than any other American woman - Simone now can add makeup skills to her list. Speaking to Vogue as the U.S. edition's latest cover star, the Olympic gold medalist gymnast shares her beauty secrets.
Included in these secrets, is her popular gold eye makeup look which she dons when she competes.

First, she explains that she uses a cream cleanser to wash her face, then pats her face with a white towel to dry. The star then puts on a vitamin-packed sheet mask, which she uses a jade roller to apply pressure on. To finish off, she uses an exfoliating essence. The cover star admits she learned a lot about skin care from her teammate Aly Raisman.
“She was obsessed with skincare products, and half her suitcase, every time we went on assignment, was all skincare. That was like her relaxation mode, and now I finally get it," Simone says.

Once her skin are routine is complete, Simone then applies makeup, using a beauty blender to apply foundation. For her eye makeup, she prefers a gold look to compliment her skin tone. She first applies the gold eyeshadow, followed by winged liner, and her final touch is a volumising mascara, along with a blush stick and lip balm.
