If you’re terrified of creepy-crawlies, then this new make-up look is definitely not for you.
Jasmine Ahumada, from California, puts her artistic skills to good use by creating intricate designs with butterflies, crickets and some more dangerous species.
But if that isn’t enough, she also adds her insect kingdom, which includes tarantulas, to her eyebrows or the corners of her eyes to achieve her make-up look, reports The Sun.
The make-up artist, who says she’s in fact scared of bugs, also revealed that the insects she use aren’t alive and died naturally.
“I don’t even like handling bugs and some of them scare me but I still have an appreciation,” Jasmine says.
“None of these were killed! I’d never harm any living creature for the sake of art.”
Jasmine recently launched her new artwork, the Insects Eyes Art series, and told Metro News that theme emerged from her personal journey to deepen her creativity.
"I understand if this is gross to you or you have a hard time understanding this type of art, but this is a by-product of MY creativity. Commenters that choose to bully will not be tolerated,” she says.
Most of Jasmine’s 59 000 followers on Instagram find the
make-up look rather creepy, while others simply love it.
“I love you, you've made your eye look like a flower!! The colours are lovely,” one follower said.
“This is honestly so cool! But creepy!” another commented.
