See your face reflected in hers - here are 7 easy steps to achieve Zozibini Tunzi's winning soft glam makeup look
It has been said that the more makeup you have on, the more confident you become. However, our Miss SA Zozibini Tunzi, and newly crowned Miss Universe has once again proved that sometimes less is more with her simple, yet glamorous look at the Miss Universe beauty pageant this past weekend.
With soft glam makeup becoming increasingly popular, now is as good a time as any to revisit a few key tips on how to achieve it, especially since Miss Universe has been wearing this look during her reign as Miss SA too.
So here is a step by step on how to achieve Zozibini’s winning look:
Start by cleansing, toning and moisturising your face, we recommend the Garnier Even and Matte product range for a perfect matte effect. You can even exfoliate your face to make sure your skin is super clean and fresh.

Apply a light to medium coverage foundation of your choice and try one of W. Beauty's colour correctors (green, purple, yellow, peach) to cover uneven spots, scarring, hyperpigmentation or dark under-eye circles.

Note: When doing soft glam, don't use full coverage foundation. The point is for your healthy skin to still exude its own natural glow.
Keep your cheeks all-natural, use a skinned tone blush such as a soft bronzer. NYX Professional Makeup High Definition Blush has a variety of shades including a bronzer.

Keep your natural eyelashes and only apply a mascara.
Remember you are working to achieve a simple yet glamorous makeup look, therefore your eyeshadow has to be dark, bronze or gold.

Because you will have a simple look, make sure you focus on your eyebrows to frame your face. However, they still need to look as natural as possible. The new Maybelline Tattoo Brow peel off tint is perfect as it gives a more natural effect and it lasts for up to three days. All you have to do is apply it for two hours before you get ready. Just make sure you get your shape right.

Use a nude or brown lipstick for your lips.

For a finishing touch, spray on the Maybelline Lasting Fix Makeup Setting Spray. It is water-based, sets your makeup and helps it stay put for hours.
