Get enough sleep

Getting ‘beauty sleep’ isn’t just something people say for fun. Sleep can improve the overall quality of your life and physical appearance.  A part of the skin-regenerating process happens while we sleep, so the less you sleep, the less frequent your skin repairs itself.

Watch what you eat

What you put in your body will do more for you than bottles of expensive cream and jars could ever do. Walnuts, almonds and green dark-leaved veggies like kale and spinach are packed with antioxidants to help keep your healthy.

Keep your hydration at a maximum

Just like a flower needs water to flourish, so does your skin. What you put in is what you’ll get out, so be careful of the drinks you consume. Up your water intake and reduce your coffee and sugary drinks.

Be gentle with your skin

Avoid tugging and pulling your skin when applying make-up or washing your face as this causes premature wrinkles.

Always protect your skin from the sun

Sunscreen should a part of your daily skin regimen regardless of the season. Getting used to this habit will help reduce the chances of severe hyperpigmentation and discoloration.
