One day - when the pandemic eventually allows - we'll be able to book appointments for beauty treatments. Some will be painful, and others will be immensely therapeutic.
And with winter almost officially upon us, we might certainly add one or two of these weird and wonderful treatments listed below to our beauty wishlist once the hydration-sucking season is over. We also recommend that you check with your dermatologist or trusted aesthetician which treatment is appropriate and safest for your skin concerns.

Extraction facial
An extraction facial is a good way to clear out any clogged pores or blackheads. While many facials include light extractions, an extraction-focused facial could be good for anyone with blackheads or acne-prone skin.
Acne mesh treatment
This involves small threads being inserted into the skin to get the body to produce more collagen. Areas where the treatment is performed eventually plump up, helping reduce the appearance of acne scarring.
Enzyme face and body mask
DMK enzyme therapy is meant to work with the lymphatic system and the body’s enzymes to help remove dead skin cells, promote circulation, and restore skin. The mask tightens while drying, encouraging more blood flow and circulation throughout the body.
Wax mask
The wax mask removes peach fuzz from the face. These masks help remove pesky blackheads and exfoliate skin, leaving it softer for makeup application.
Chemical peel
This treatment removes the top layer of skin, revealing brighter skin underneath.

Non-surgical face lift
The plasma fibroblast treatment is a non-invasive alternative to a face lift surgery. The plasma fibroblast device burns tiny holes into the skin, which is supposed to make the untreated skin around the burn site tighten and give the look of a face lift with little downtime.
Korean body scrub
In this treatment, the body is scrubbed with an Italy towel to remove layers of dirt and dead skin. The treatment is a favourite among celebrities like the Kardashians.
Sugaring
A great hair removal option for people with sensitive skin. Read more about the procedure in the article below.

Chemical foot peel
This kind of peel can be useful for people with rough, dry, and cracked feet. In this version, feet are coated with a mix of salicylic acid, lactic acid, and malic acid. About three days after the treatment, feet start to shed skin, which is supposed to leave them super soft and smooth.
Dermalinfusion facial
Dermalinfusion exfoliates skin and performs extractions while infusing skin with a choice of rejuvenating serums. The machine actually sucks impurities out of the skin into a jar, making hidden build-up visible.
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning uses a scalpel to remove peach fuzz and dead skin from the face. The treatment painlessly exfoliates any skin type, which can leave skin feeling smoother and looking brighter.
