How would that make you feel?
We spend so much time, getting the right look, nailing the perfect pose and choosing the best picture to post on social media – all for likes and comments.
So, when someone comments on your picture in a negative way, it can be really upsetting.
Blogger, Em Ford did not receive one negative comment about her face. She received thousands.
On her blog My Pale Skin, Em does make-up tutorials, many of which focus on acne-prone skin, as she too has problematic skin.
But showing her acne, and her made-up face, has resulted in very harsh comments. Instead of hiding her face, or lashing out, Em decided to make a video to show the impact of negative comments and to remind everyone that they are beautiful, regardless of what they look like.
On her blog, she said the video was made in response to the many messages she received from people who suffer from acne and as a result self-esteem issues.

We think Em is absolutely amazing. Not only does she deal with the haters with dignity and class, she is giving so many people who suffer from the same condition a boost to love themselves more.
