Thando Hopa on the cover of Vogue more than celebrates her achievements - and reminds us how other women continue to smash the glass ceiling
On 2 April Vogue Portugal released its April cover for an edition called Vogue Portugal. South African model, lawyer and activist Thando Hopa graces the cover of this edition, making history as the first woman living with albinism to be on the cover of the magazine.
Thando has numerous achievements under her name, one of which includes being listed on the BBC's top 100 inspiring influential women and, secondly, being featured as the first-ever black South African model in the 45th edition of the glamorous Pirelli calendar.
