One look at this picture and it’s going to be an undisputed no from us.

Step back, almond-shaped, Kylie-Jenner-style nails. An old trend is making a confusing comeback.

Flared nails – or duck feet – are the hand decorations that make you feel like you were the It-Girl of the 70s.

Once a favourite of the stars of the popular reality show, Jerseylicious, the trend seemed to have died down over recent years.

But according to Metro.co.uk, it seems to have resurfaced earlier this year – and it’s been trending ever since.

All the more reason to halt the idea of joining in on the trend, is that fact that it’s dangerous to the wearer.

"They can easily break off and take part of your nail," a nail technician told Popsugar.com.

"That can be extremely painful."

Not worth suffering for beauty.
