The Korean beauty industry has taken the international beauty industry by storm. The success of what is known as KBeauty has spread through social media and retail, on a global scale.
In 2015 already, Korea was reported to have exported more than $1 billion (almost R14 billion) worth of beauty products, according to The Cut.
The most well known KBeauty regimen is a 10 step skincare routine, and its products are known to be packed with concentrated vitamins and natural ingredients.

As you may have heard from your favourite beauty YouTubers, the sheet mask has become a staple for many beauty enthusiasts. Sheet masks offer a range of benefits depending on which concerns you want to take care of.

One of the key aspects of KBeauty is moisturised and glowing skin. This moisturising mask boasts a coral grass and green algae-infused formula to repair the skin's natural moisture barrier.
SERUMS
Another important product, according to Soko Glam, serums are like moisturisers that are stripped down to only the most powerful actives to your skin faster.
This serum boasts brightening properties to improve the appearance of pigmentation while deeply moisturising your skin. It's infused with oryza sativa (Rice) bran water, among other ingredients.

ESSENCES
According to Soko Glam, essences are filled with hydrating, anti-aging and complexion enhancing ingredients to hydrate the skin and aid cell turnover.
This snail mucin essence is derived from actual snails, formulated with 96% snail secretion filtrate. It's also a concentrated formula, claims to revitalise and repair acne scarring, lack of hydration, premature aging, sensitivity or dry patches.
This essence also claims to effectively treat acne while being gentle on the skin. According to its product information, it is made from 90% tea tree extract to bind moisture to and soothe blemish-prone skin.
