Why spend hundreds or even thousands of money on beauty products and devices, when the best advice is au natural

And lucky for you, we’ve got the best beauty hacks, tried and tested by our Women24 Community:

Here are 11 beauty hacks that work:

1. Ditch the fancy cleansers and buy baby aqueous soap - your skin will clear up within weeks.

2. Start off the day with a glass of warm or hot water with fresh lemon juice squeezed into it (use a max of a half of lemon).

3. Cut out meat and processed foods, and by doing that you will do your whole body a huge favour.

4. Natural beauty products, such as essential oils, herbal soaps, coconut oil and lime juice are all great ways to improve your "natural" beauty.

5. Never, EVER bath or shower with very hot water - it's terrible for the skin.

6. Use a soft brush to wash your face and body and it will leave your skin radiant. This works as it removes all the excess oils and dead skin cells.

7. Make a "turmeric mask" from the spice rack.

8. Mix tissue oil and sun block with your body lotion to keep hydrated and protected from the sun.

9. A good workout or sauna session is a great way to rid of toxins in the body.

10. Always wash your makeup off before retiring to bed and make sure that you apply a good moisturising and re-moisturise just before bed.

11. Start with you. Tell yourself that you're beautiful, worthy and unique.
