1. The Bridal Fair SA
When: 27 – 29 May 2016
Where: Montecasino, Johannesburg
Why you should attend: One of this year’s most anticipated events will see celebrity guest star and designer Randy Fenoli, of Say Yes to the Dress fame attending and hosting workshops and catwalk fashion shows, among other things.
There’ll also be up to 200 exhibitors, so you’ll have a wide variety of vendors to visit to your heart’s content. High teas, bridal displays and trend forecasts are the order of the day and you can get discounts from top suppliers in the industry.

2. The Wedding Expo
When & Where: Takes place in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg

Johannesburg: 27 & 28 August 2016

Why you should attend: From bridal workshops to makeovers and fabulous competitions, this expo is one not to be missed.
You’ll hear from experts about what types of dresses you should get, have a chance to interact with some of SA’s finest wedding planners and be able to browse through a wide variety of all the services on offer.

3. FAB Bridal Expo
When: 7 – 8 May
Where: Grandwest Casino
Why you should attend: There’ll be a variety of stands, fashion shows and experts available at your disposal. From jewellery queries to getting help with choosing the perfect wedding dress and theme for your wedding, there’s a wealth of resources that will be available at your disposal.

4. Oakfield Farm Wedding Expo
When: 25 – 26 June
Where: Johannesburg
Why you should attend: With its beautiful and picturesque settings, Oakfield Farm has proven to be a hit with many couples over the years. There’ll be a wide range of stalls to browse, prizes to be won, fashion shows to watch and plenty of opportunities to scope the farm out as a potential wedding venue itself. You won’t want to miss out on this event.

5. Winelands Bridal Fair
When: 6 – 7 August
Where: Spier Wine Farm, Stellenbosch
Why you should attend: If you’ve never been to Spier Wine Farm before, the Winelands Bridal Fair is a great excuse for you to attend. With plenty of activities, gorgeous scenery and wonderful picnic spots, it’s no wonder that brides-to-be attend this glorious event.
Fashion shows, bridal displays and prizes aplenty are all on the cards. As an added bonus, some of SA’s top designers will be showing their unique designs and exhibitors will be around to answer all your wedding-related questions.
