Country singers Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have been married for 19 years and Tim posted a video on Facebook, retelling the story of his 1996 proposal to Faith. At a country music festival, Tim was about to hit the stage, when he and Faith were joking around and talking about marriage.
Overcome by the moment, he took her hand and told her he wants to marry her. According to Tim, she laughed and told him he couldn’t be serious as he was about to perform on stage.
The cutest thing happened after Tim finished his performance and came back to his dressing room; Faith had written ‘Yes’ on the mirror with a Sharpie. It’s so adorable and just totally sweet.
Ludacris and Eudoxie Mbouguiengue
Rapper Ludacris proposed to his Gabonese model girlfriend in such a sweet, romantic way. According to US Magazine, in 2014, along with friends, the couple flew to Costa Rica on Boxing Day, and once they were airborne the rapper went down on bended knee.
Ludacris projected the message, “Eudoxie will you marry me” on a field as they flew over it and left her in tears. Ludacris posted a picture of the moment to Instagram with the caption “She didn’t say yes. She said HELL YES!” and they were married later that day.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian
Kanye proposed to Kim in the middle of San Francisco’s AT&T baseball park and the rapper went all out. Kanye had lots of candles burning, a 50-piece orchestra and with family and friends watching in the dugout.
Kanye went down onto one knee and said, “I just want to know,” while the stadium scoreboard carried a message that said, “Pleeease marry meee!!!” Kim put her hands to her face and then whispered "Yes".
It was a joyous occasion, as the entire family rushed up to them and had a celebratory dinner afterwards, and this moment was all captured in an episode on the reality television show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Pink and Carey Hart
It’s not surprising that this rock star decided to make the bold move and propose to her boyfriend motocross racer, Carey Hart. According to MTV, Pink proposed during the third lap of a race and wrote “Will you marry me?” on a pit board.
And as Carey continued to the next lap, the singer wrote “I’m serious!” on the board again, and he immediately pulled off the track and picked her up. Although, Carey lost the race, he did win his wife's heart and it shows as the two are still together after nine years of marriage.
Matthew McCougney and Camila Alves
Oscar winning actor, Matthew’s proposal to long-time girlfriend Camila didn’t go as smoothly as he had planned. The actor revealed that, on Christmas Day, he wrapped the engagement ring deep inside a series of boxes.
With both their families there, Camila frustratingly opened each layer for about 15 times. Finally, she opened the final box with family all around, and Matthew bent down on one knee and popped the question.
Matthew revealed to Jay Leno on The Tonight Show that the model did not jump for joy, stating that the first words that came out of her mouth was “not yes”. But everything turned out well at the end, when she finally agreed. The two have been married for three years and have three kids.
Atandwa Kani and Fikile Mthwalo
South African actor Atandwa Kani and Lesotho-born South African actress Fikile Mathwalo got engaged earlier this year. According to the Daily Sun, the two were at a theatre where Atandwa was starring in a play called Action, and in this play he didn’t have any lines. However, he started uttering words and finally proposed, on camera, to Fikile, who was sitting in the audience shocked.
Seal and Heidi Klum
Seal proposed to Heidi in an igloo. Yes, he went there.
According to People, the couple went on a helicopter ride to an igloo that he had built in Whistler, Canada. The singer songwriter went all out by bringing up food, a bed with sheets, rose petals, champagne and candles. The two were cut off from the world and he popped the question intimately.
Although the two divorced in 2014 after nearly seven years of marriage, this is still one of the cutest proposal stories we've ever heard.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith
Will Smith’s proposal to Jada Pinkett Smith was chilled and unplanned. Will told People Magazine that they were in bed, about to go to sleep, when he looked over at her and said, “Hey, we might be real good married. Wassup? You wanna marry me?”
Unexpected and with no ring in hand, Jada agreed and since then the two have been married for more than 18 years.
