When it comes to weddings, we know one thing for sure, before planning to get married, you need to be ready, and not only emotionally, but financially as well.

A wedding consists of a lot of items that complete the day, from the wedding gown, suits, décor, food, entertainment, etc., the list is long.

Bored Panda reported on a bride, who needs assistance to complete her big day and promises a press-worthy day, which will give all service-providers exposure on her social media platforms.

The anonymous bride from the UK who calls herself Mrs David, after her soon-to-be-husband's first name, took to Facebook to announce her wedding and the venue. It will be held at an estate, which, according to the bride, is a historical landmark. Her husband-to-be’s Godmother pledged the venue, and they will use it free of charge.

Upon making the announcement, she continued to share what other elements are missing to complete the wedding and asked for assistance, in exchange for exposure on both Facebook and Instagram. The puzzling detail about the deal is that the Instagram account is yet to be created.

Hoping not to pay for the wedding she began the post by saying, “Hi y'all! As you know me and David are getting married! Soon I will be Mrs David (Bleep), can you believe it? I can lol I do. I deserve it.”

After introducing the topic she continued to share details of her wedding and honeymoon, “Because we are having an out of state wedding, which means we will be travelling and staying in hotels and also because of our honeymoon in Dubai (one month) I'm asking for your help with some wedding stuff!”

She then went on to list the items she still needs for the wedding:

-          “If anyone has experience as a professional photographer (not a hobby but getting paid as a job) please contact me or David. We need you. This could be considered your gift to us! We would need you to pay for travel to Maine and everything but I think once you saw where the wedding is you'd be begging us for the opportunity!”

-          “If anyone knows a good caterer in Maine or willing to travel to Maine who will work for exposure. I'm going to be starting an Instagram soon.”

-          “Any dress designers out there? I want that one of a kind dress! You need to be professional and talented. I want to feel like a princess! I will post your info and all of the pictures on here and on my Instagram.”

-          “We also need all the usual stuff — flowers, searing, music (orchestra, no DJ, this will be classy). I can already tell you our event will get press because of the historic location.”

Needless to say the post was not received with as much enthusiasm as it was posted.

Facebook users expressed their thoughts with one saying, “I think you should scale down your wedding if you can't afford to pay for it. No offense, it's just kind of... tacky.”

The post also made it to Reddit and users didn’t take time to share their thoughts on the bride. One user said, "She has no exposure to give, that's a new one!”

Another added, “Provide free food and catering for a wedding in exchange for exposure on a future Instagram - what a deal.”
