Imagine planning not to feed your guests in order to keep under budget.

It’s no secret that it’s quite costly to have a wedding, whether it’s big or small.

This bride, however, found a way to have the dress of her dream at a cost of $1000 (about R15 000) dress and still follow through with her special day, without going over budget.

Except, it was at the cost of food and drinks for the guests and providing them with a DJ for entertainment.

According to The Sun, the bride took to a Facebook wedding shaming group to brag about how she was able to stay below her wedding budget by cutting some costs.

In an interesting list, she details where her money will be spent. And explains that instead of food, her guests will be served cake and popcorn.

Wildly enough, the bride plans on spending $1,400 (about R21k) on a photographer and another $1,200 (about R18k) on a videographer.

The bride proudly revealed her cost-saving measures

The list seems so bizarre, it’s easy to assume the bride is joking, and most of the Facebookers who saw it, similarly were left shocked that the bride would resort to not feeding her guests or providing them with proper entertainment.

One Facebook user even commented on the fact that the photographer would be left with pictures of upset guests, that is, if there were any guests at all.

While others questioned whether or not the décor which she was planning on using more money on was going to be pizza stuck on the wall.

While this person questioned what the photographer and videographer would be capturing at the wedding.

“No food, no alcohol, no music… what is your videographer going to video?”

To which another user hilariously replied, “A bunch of hungry people milling around making awkward conversation.”
