You’ve either had to deal with a Bridezilla or been one – and if neither of the two categories apply to you, consider yourself lucky!
Venting in a wedding-shaming Facebook group, a bride explained she’d asked her younger sister – who was to be her bridesmaid – to buy a navy dress with floral details. Instead, the headstrong sibling opted to buy a black see-through dress that only covers the necessary bits, reports Fox News.
“My wedding is in eight days and I told my little sister in January to get a navy dress with flowers on it,” she wrote in the group.
“She told me today she hasn’t ordered a dress yet, but she liked this. I said that’s not appropriate for my wedding especially as a bridesmaid so if this is your hint you don’t want to be a bridesmaid just say it.”
Her sister then decided to opt out of being a bridesmaid but still wants to participate in the fun.
“She still thinks she gets to do all the bridesmaid fun with me and bachelorette fun . . . sorry nope (sic)!”
According to The Metro, the frock chosen by the defiant sister is a body suit dress by top American fashion brand Fashion Nova.
While stunning, the $69,99 (R992,50) dress might not be suitable for a conservative wedding.
As one Facebook user summed it up: “Anyone that would wear this dress to a wedding as it is, is just trying to show up the bride and be trashy. But if the bride is down, then get trashy and have fun.”
