Peter*, who’s been in a relationship with Eva for five years, doesn’t want his fiancée’s identical twin sister, Mia, at their wedding because he fears guests won’t be able to tell them apart, The Sun reports.
The groom who’s due to tie the knot in the next two months, shared his concerns about his fiancée’s twin sister on Reddit, saying he was worried particularly because “Eva chose to make Mia . . . her maid of honour”.
“Originally she wasn't going to be in the bridesmaid party at all due to a complicated pregnancy, but she ended up with a C-section and she and baby are doing well now,” he wrote.
Peter also added that Eva had decided to pick white dresses for her bridesmaids, which he felt was a “horrific decision”.
The groomzilla not only suggested that Eva ask Mia to step down from her bridesmaid duties but further insisted that she change the colour of their gowns.
“Eva was literally disgusted by this idea and shot it down immediately,” he wrote.
To make matters worse, the groom took it a step further by insisting that his sister be Eva’s alternative maid of honour so Mia needn’t attend the wedding at all.
“I put my foot down and refused to do it all her way but it’s an unstoppable force against an unmoving object.”
Following up on his post, Peter revealed that he was “sticking by his decision” which sent many netizens into a frenzy.
“That woman needs to run, he’s being a control freak,” one user wrote.
“He's totally afraid he's going to confuse them. He just doesn't want to admit it,” another commented.
