Get to know the venue’s offering, and how flexible they are as you might want something extra special, which requires changing a few details. For summer weddings, double-check the quality of your venue’s landscapes as guests may want to spend time soaking up the sun on luscious lawns.

When it comes to food, make sure you go for a tasting before your wedding. The menu your venue offers needs to leave your guests reminiscing for months to come.

Liesl Lambrechts, founder of wedding stationery company, Artica Designs, advises on wedding stationery:

Minimal is the way to go. Try not to go for over the top stationery that will take away your limelight.

Instead, go for elegant designs that incorporate with one or two fonts printed on the most beautiful quality paper because gone are the days of floral designs with five or more fonts.
