PICS: Couple’s hilarious failed attempt to recreate engagement photoshoot

Collin Hewett and Alyssa Snodsmith, from Illinois in the US, wanted to celebrate their planned wedding for 2020 with special engagement snaps, Metro reported.

Speaking to BuzzFeed, Alyssa said the inspiration for their photoshoot was a picture she’d found on Pinterest of a man affectionately pouring champagne into his beau’s mouth.

“We just thought it was fun,” she said. “It kinda just matches us. We just like to have fun.”

But the couple’s attempt at recreating the image took a rather twisted turn when Collin failed to successfully pour the fizz into Allyssa’s mouth without making a mess.

“I was trying so hard to pour it slowly that when it started to kind of trickle out at the end, I over-adjusted and it came pouring out all over her,” Collin told TIME.

“So me and Alyssa took our engagements pictures yesterday. She found a Pinterest picture that she wanted to try and recreate . . . I botched it,” the 23-year-old captioned the pictures he shared on Twitter.

“I’m fine btw,” Allyssa commented on the post with a picture of herself smiling to reassure friends.
