The Duchess of Cambridge has always been royally good at recycling an outfit. Whether it’s an elegant dress or a double-breasted coat, Kate is known to re-wear pieces she loves.

The red coat
Kate has been spotted twice at public events in this cherry red Catherine Walker coat. The first, at the Christmas Day service in 2018 and the second time was at the Commonwealth Day Services in 2020.
Monochrome tweed two-piece
She looked modern when she first stepped out in this Dolce & Gabbana tweed suit at the Mental Health in Education Conference in 2019.
The lilac shift dress
This Emelia Wickstead dress seems to be a favourite. When she wore it at the Global Mental Health Gala in 2018, fans were quick to point out they'd seen Kate wear it before on a family visit to Hamburg.
The ball gown
Kate has no shortage of ball gowns but she's not afraid to rework her evening looks. She wore this Jenny Packam gown in New York and in London in the same year.

The green coat
Kate is a big fan of double-breasted, belted coats and this green number ticks all those boxes. She wore this jacket to celebrate St Patrick's Day in 2014 and at an official visit to Canada in 2016.
The grey coat dress
She wore this Michael Kors coat dress in 2014 and again as her family finished the royal tour in Australia. This coat also made an appearance at the opening of Hampton Court's Magic Garden.
The pink floral dress
During lockdown she still makes the most of her wardrobe, she rewore this printed LK Bennet dress she previously wore at a polo match and to join care home workers in Wales for a virtual game of bingo.
