Kristen Stewart goes barefoot on Cannes red carpet - proves yet again she's one of a kind

accreditation

Arriving for the premiere of Spike Lee’s Blackkklansman at Cannes, Kristen Stewart looked put-together in her silver Chanel couture mini and black Christian Louboutin heels.

Yet, after a series of snaps were taken of her lewk, and it began to drizzle with rain, the actress had to start making her way inside the venue for the showing.

KStew being KStew, slipped those heels right off and headed up the stairs barefoot.

But this is not the first time the actress has opted for the 'rather safe than sorry' approach as she also removed her heels inside the theater at the showing of Clouds of Sils Maria at Cannes before walking down the stairs to her seat, a few years ago.

Was this a protest against the still instated 'no flats' rule on the Cannes red carpet? In 2015 a few actresses were denied access to the red carpet when they opted to arrive in flats at the premiere of Cate Blanchett's, Carol.

This, naturally, lead to much controversy at the time.

In this case, I just think KStew gave no f's.
