Last night the 2019 BET Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, where entertainment royalty was honoured for their praiseworthy contributions to the industry.
The evening saw the likes of Cardi B, Mary J Blige and Sho Madjozi walking away with top awards much to the excitement of their fans across the world.
But as we all know, the cheers of any awards ceremony are heard on the red carpet first, and with BET Africa's Nomalanga Shozi hosting the international red carpet, the bar was set quite high.
