The host for the glamourous event was Isibaya actress and UN Goodwill ambassador Nomzamo Mbatha. She was assisted by TV presenter Mark Bayly, who's best known for presenting the reality competition series Survivor South Africa.

The dress code for this year was “Elegant Daywear, while the theme was dubbed “Colourama”. Bright yellows and blush pinks were the order of the day, and most attendents wore comfortable shoes so they could navigate the course easily. Statement hats and fascinators were also en vogue!

It was a purple affair as Nomzamo stepped out in an Orapeleng Modutle jumpsuit with a ruffled detail on one shoulder. Jessica Nkosi looked bright in an off-the-shoulder double-breasted mustard suit by FabroSanz, paired with a fascinator and strappy heels, while Lerato Kganyago looked royal in a blue suit and an embellished figure belt by Gert-Johan Coetzee.
