Last weekend the 10th installment of the Pink Polo saw South Africa's top influencers, celebrities and fashion and entertainment media sprinkled like pink confetti all over the Val de Vie Estate in the Western Cape.

Exactly a week later, the Gauteng province got its own taste of luxury, as we enjoyed a sweltering, yet bubbly day at the Standard Bank Polo in the Park at Joburg’s most renowned mixed-use lifestyle resort, Steyn City. 

This was the first-ever Action Polo on the African Continent and attendees certainly dressed as such with their various interpretations of the 'Nomadic Couture' theme. 

However, given that SA's social scene has a deficit of major red carpet events that call for elaborate gowns to be worn, it's understandable that some guests showed up in looks some would consider 'overdressed' for the polo. Even so, we managed to spot those who struck gold with their polo 'fits by finding balance.
