The 73rd Annual Tony Awards were held on Sunday night at Radio City Music Hall in New York. These awards honour the achievements of stars in Broadway theater, so it was without a doubt, a musical affair hosted by everyone's favourite Carpool Karaoke guy James Corden, and one that even had High School Musical alumni in attendance.
Not only was it all about music and theater, but this year, the Tonys swapped out their monochrome red carpet backdrop for a rainbow floral banner in support of Pride Month.
And whether it was coincidence or not, we couldn't help but notice that every colour on the spectrum was represented by some of the gowns celebrities strutted down the red carpet in.
So let's take a look at the head-turning dresses that fit the ROYGBIV acronym:
Ravishing in Red
The best looks were served up in red.
The red carpet star the world deserves right now.
A pastel variation of this citrus colour, giving us more peach than orange, but worthy of applause regardless.
And it was all yellow
Look how the stars shone for us - not in yellow per se, but in white gowns with golden touches.
Looking like money in green
When in doubt, go green.
Sing me the Blues
Violet & co.
Pink and purple have always been a winning combo, so we squeezed Regina King's pastel pink Prada gown here.
