Fashion Nova is currently selling an affordable version of the green dress Jennifer Lopez wore to the 2000 Grammy awards and revisited in September during Milan Fashion Week.

Executives at Versace are not prepared to let it slide, calling the replica a rip-off. They have filed court documents calling Fashion Nova bosses "a serial infringer specialising in knock-offs". Representatives for the brand are suing for the profits generated by the replicas and an injunction blocking further sales.

19 years since wearing this iconic Versace dress, Jennifer Lopez received the 2019 CFDA Fashion Icon award.

Versace also made a reinterpretation version of the Versace green Jungle print dress, also known as the dress that started Google Images, and it was seen on its runway in September 2019.
