Well, reality TV star Kim Kardashian West can in fact because this is what she did to rock her custom-made Mugler creation.
The 38-year-old KKW beauty mogul turned heads on the 2019 Met Gala pink carpet when she stunned in a skin-tight nude-coloured dress which had been in the works for eight months and is made out of silicon by seasoned French designer Thierry Mugler.
Barely able to breathe, Kim revealed during her behind-the-scenes video for Vogue that she would not be able to sit for four hours and would instead be, “Walking around, mingling, talking, but I cannot hardly sit”. “Wish me luck, I won't be able to pee for about four hours.”
In case she did need to go to the bathroom, the mother of three revealed that a plan was being made, “in case of an emergency”.
As far as travelling goes and getting to the Met, Kim revealed she would have to get a stool. “I asked them to get a stool. So I'll have to stand as I'm riding in a sprinter van on the way there with, I think, a pole, so I can hold onto the pole,” she said.
“Just wish me luck.” And without a doubt it was completely worth it because she pulled off the “California girl stepping out of the ocean” look that Thierry Mugler envisioned.
