African Fashion International (AFI), has begun a co-ordinated approach, with 21 designers, to manufacture and design face masks specifically recommended by the Department of Trade and Industry for the South African public.
This program will enable business continuity and operations for South African designers, and help them pay their staff. Some of the local designers who have rallied for this initiative and designed masks, include Imprint, Amanda May, Dax Martin, Bulbulia, Loin Cloth & Ashes, Shweshwekini, and Gavin Rajah.
Some of these designers are also selling face masks outside of this initiative, but still towards achieving the same goal.

Imprint’s new collection of mask is all about keeping safe while still being fashionable. Each pair of mask you buy is about saving your life, helping put food on the table for the less fortunate and contribute towards saving the environment. As parts of the proceeds from sale are put on a fund to buy food for those who can’t during this time, and well all masks are reusable and made from 100% recycled materials. We also do wholesale orders with branding for corporate clients. Note as an essential product we do courier immediately at R65 all over SA. Whatsapp our team for package and price options. #ImprintZA #LeaveAMark #FaceMask #COVID19
