Festival season is here and we know you want to look stylish. But you have to keep the reality in mind: few showers, lots of sun, or wind (in the Western Cape) or rain (in Durban and Gauteng), and lots of running from stage to stage to view your favourite band.
And of course, there will be dancing.

Here are the 5 fashion items you need for this summer festival season:
1. Peasant tops
Comfy, light-weight and sexy - these have made a serious comeback and they are a wardrobe essential for any festival-goer.
2. Off-the shoulder dresses/tops
Show off a bit of skin (and catch a bit of a tan) with an off-the shoulder dress or pair an off-the shoulder top with high-waisted shorts or a denim skirt.

3. Lace-ups or sandals
Be comfortable and have fun in a pretty pair of lace-up sandals, pumps or even combat-style lace-up boots for that edgy feel.
4. Jumpsuits
You can never go wrong with a jumpsuit. Go for a casual and comfortable one and complete your look by adding a few accessories.
5. Denim cut-offs
You can pair them up with an over-sized tee or a vest and add some tassel earrings or a baseball cap.
