Blue jeans have never gone out of style, so it’s to be expected that the classic pant will be reinvented over time.

But these asymmetric jeans are something far from what we were hoping for. Will this be the trend in 2019?

Asymmetrical designs were popular on runways in 2018. Rich Mnisi gave us asymmetry on the capri jumpsuit with pleated detail, Alexandra Wang gave us asymmetrical necklines, Belenciaga gave us the trending asymmetrical pleated skirts and MmusoMaxwell did it all.

Before this we'd seen and maybe bought jeans with asymmetrical hems that accompanied the distressed jeans trend.

Now it seems the asymmetrical trend is here to stay. Enter, "asymmetric jeans".

Design duo under the brand Ksenia Schnaider, who have designed jeans with asymmetrical hems, have taken the trend a whole lot further.

According to Vogue, Ksenia Schnaider – one part of the duo – based these jeans on the brands two best-selling designs, a pair of wide-leg jeans and then their high-waisted mom jeans.

The Ksenia Schnaider brand is no stranger to designing statement, and sometimes brow raising, jeans. They rework some of these jeans to create something new. what do you think?
