The french prince of high-end stiletto footwear with the trademark red lacquered soles, spoke about his 30-year passion for designing women's shoes.

"I like curves. When I draw, I'm really someone who comes from the world of curves. That's why I love heels, but I love all shoes, including flat shoes. I've drawn thousands of them, but it's true that when I draw, everything comes in curves. And when all is in curves, you end up arching the foot," Christian explains.

"As soon as you put on heels, it changes your posture, it changes your shape, the design of your body, and gives you a certain awareness of your body. That's why I love heels," he adds.

"I wouldn't want people to look at my shoes and think, 'That looks so comfortable!' - instead, I want people to look at my shoes and think, 'Wow, this is beautiful!'"
