The term bath-leisure was since coined by The Cut and Manrepeller has also reported widely on the topic; yet I would argue we were there first.
In November 2016 towel chic was already owned at Little Gig (South Africa's smallest, and arguably most fashionable, festival) by Kara Furter and Maybe Corpaci. Red lips and all on the dancefloor.
Yaaaas queens.
We've incorporated pajamas, robes and slippers into our daily wardrobe, so why not a towel, right?
