Rita Ora's Terry cloth robe and towel combo worn on last November's MTV’s European Music Awards red carpet had us shook, until Rihanna popped up on the cover of Vogue Paris in a much similar manner, that is.
The term bath-leisure was since coined by The Cut and Manrepeller has also reported widely on the topic; yet I would argue we were there first.
In November 2016 towel chic was already owned at Little Gig (South Africa's smallest, and arguably most fashionable, festival) by Kara Furter and Maybe Corpaci. Red lips and all on the dancefloor.
