Tropical prints are a solid spring/summer favourite for many good reasons. Firstly, it’s nearly impossible to sport a tiger printed blouse without feeling as if you belong on an adventurous escape to Bali.
Secondly, wild blossoms, couch florals and palm leaves have a way of making us feel that summer can and will last forever.
Although, we probably never will see the last of floral patterns, this sweet summer we’re turning to juicy fruit for inspiration. So yes, we’re here for bananas, pineapples, grapes and berries. All the tastiest ingredients for killer smoothies and to apparently have printed on a Prada tote.
Dating back to the 2017 Spring/Summer shows from the mega houses of Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana and the red carpets of the Venice Film Festival, fruit has proven time and again that it is a classy and tasteful choice.
So, if you’re ready to extend your range of tropical motifs this season, we’ve got just the list to get you started and ultimately sweeten your spring/summer days. It's time to summon your inner Josephine Baker.
