She was recently the star of photoshoot that took the internet by storm for being body positive and empowering women to love themselves.

The beautiful pictures feature Stephanie and her fiancé Arryn, stripped down and posing for a photographer friend of theirs, Bria Terry, in celebration of their engagement.

The photos of the couple from Texas, whose surnames are not known, were uploaded to Wolf & Rose Photography's Facebook and shared more than 85 000 times.

But the boudoir shoot didn’t impress everyone. In fact, her employers were left so cold by the images they reportedly gave Stephanie the boot.

According to The Sun, Stephanie claims she was fired from her job at a bank because they were concerned the pictures reflected badly on their “family-orientated” image.

"They said I was topless and it was inappropriate and we’re a family-oriented company,” Stephanie, who is five months pregnant told Buzzfeed.

“I was a model employee, I was moving up fast. I had a promotion within seven months. This one thing, for me, was the reason I was booted.”

According to The Mirror, Stephanie said she tried to defend herself, but the company would not hear it.

“There was no defending myself, they had made their decision. I gave over a year to a company that I worked really hard for and then to have them turn on me for doing something so positive, something that I was so proud of — to help myself as a woman — it was hurtful.”

Stephanie explained in an interview with HuffPost that the photoshoot made her feel empowered.

“Over the years, I’ve come to accept that I am always going to be considered plus-size.

“I was shocked. I look so in love and confident. Every person should be able to see themselves in that light. It is really eye-opening,” she added.

Despite the fact she’s now unemployed, Stephanie says she and Arryn are still proud of the outcome.

“He knows it puts out a good message and helps me in my self-confidence, and how I feel about myself. He’s all about it,” she told Buzzfeed.
