Her followers are accustomed to seeing exquisite works of art on her social media accounts – and her latest venture is no different.

Sara Shakee from Pakistan is known for her spectacular collages on Instagram where she often showcases her out-of-this world art pieces, usually depicting fantastical rainbows, volcanoes and constellations.

Sara taught herself how to use Photoshop after dropping out of her studies to become a dentist, and started making collages as a creative outlet.

But recently Sara has taken to using her own body as a template for her latest works, using glitter to transform her stretchmarks into an empowering series on Instagram.

Sara added images of gold glitter and blue galaxy to photos of actual stretchmarks – and the results are absolutely magical.

“I have never felt so powerful and liberated and so proud of my stretch marks in my entire life!” she wrote.

“Where I come from and live, to be on the chubby side or to even talk about stretch marks is not something one is proud of,” she admitted in a caption. “I have seen my stretch marks grow from the day I started putting on weight.”

Sara revealed she was afraid people wouldn’t be interested in the concept – but her 205 000 followers pleasantly surprised her.

“Amazing people and women are already doing such an amazing job of representing these stripes and cellulite. Thank you for a beautiful response everyone!” she wrote.
