Just when you thought you heard everything, eh...
An Italian company called MyShapes has designed an Emana range of control pants that emit infrared rays to combat cellulite.
The sci-fi pants do this through a nano-fibre with mineral bioactive crystals. Apparently: “According to trials carried out by MyShapes, 50 women who tried the Emana range for 60 days saw the appearance of cellulite reduce by an average of 11 per cent.”
An AVERAGE OF 11 percent?
Okay, these pants cost about R640 per pair. And you’ll need, at the very least, two pairs because this only works if you wear it for a MINUMUM of 6 hours a day.
So that means that you’ll spend about R1 300 for the privilege to wear 2 pairs of ugly pants for at least 60 days so that you might get an average of 11% cellulite loss?
I say rather use that money towards therapy.
