Skin expert and nutritionist Ashley Siedentopf has put together some easy to follow diet tips to get skin glowing.

"Foods rich in Vitamin A and C will help keep your skin supple and soft from the inside - these include sweet potato, butternut squash, carrots, and berries," she says. "Try to also include coconut oil and avocado in your diet to keep skin glowing - a breakfast smoothie made with leafy greens, berries, avocado and a teaspoon of coconut oil is a great way to get a mega dose in one gulp."

On the subject of seasonal food, Ashley highlights the importance of consuming fruits and vegetables that your body needs at different times of the year.

"The best thing we can do to optimise our health throughout any season is to eat seasonal, local and organic food. By doing this, it means you are getting not only three times the nutrients but three times the flavour. It's also important to remember that no matter what time of year it is, we should try focus on eating 80 per cent plant-based foods and 20 per cent meat, treats and wine. Eliminating gluten, cow's milk and refined sugar most of the time will do wonders for your health in the long run."
