How to spend your 67 minutes for Madiba

accreditation
In honour of Madiba and the 67 years he spent fighting for social justice, the United Nations has officially adopted the 18th of July (Madiba’s birthday)  as Mandela Day.

The legend turns 94 this year and the aim of the day is for anyone, regardless of race, age, gender, religion or nationality to give up 67 minutes of their day in order to do some good.

So whether you’re collecting blankets for the poor, knitting beanies for the elderly or just spending 67 minutes reading books to underprivileged kids, try to do your bit for Madiba. Or better yet, why not make every day Mandela day?
