ICYMI Nina Hastie writes a weekly column for us.

Sometimes she's serious, sometimes she's funny. But what we love about her is that she's always honest.

She's got her next stand-up comedy night up coming up Wednesday 21 February 19:30 at the Goliath Comedy Club in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg and two lucky winners stand a chance to win double complimentary tickets.

To 'enter' we'd love you to tell us what topics or subjects you'd like Nina to talk about on her upcoming truthbomb series. Mail us chatback@w24.co.za

Some of our favourite Nina moments so far...

Talking about relationships...

When you’re dating someone and you decide to flaunt your baeship and flood our timelines with your matching outfits, coy side-eyes, baecations and that shot of your outstretched arm leading your partner into a mysterious adventure in Bali or some such affordable Asian getaway, you guys belong to us now.

As a feminist...

One of my biggest gripes is being referred to as a female comedian, like it’s some kind of handicap and when I was asked if we should have a category for “best female comedian” at the Comic’s Choice Awards I vehemently voted against it. Representation does equality justice. It’s that simple.

Politics and comedy meet.

For online etiquette...

My mom asked me what throwing shade is – because she’s a cool mom, and uses terms like “diss", "beef", and there was the day she dropped the pearl of ‘ska borra moreki’ – so I tried finding the etymology of shade throwing.

Tea spilled.
