“I started farting uncontrollably during my job interview”

For months, jobs and interviews had been scarce. So, I was thrilled when I got an interview at Standard Bank in town even though I had never driven into town and was petrified about not finding the bank.

On the day, I got lost, but found the way with not much time to spare. There was an empty area right in front of the building. I parked and ran inside.

The interview went quite well and afterwards one of the guys was going for a smoke break out front and said he would walk me to my car.

When we got outside and I told him that my car was not there and showed him where I parked.

He then showed me the No Parking sign and said that my car must have been towed away. I was so embarrassed and trying to make light of it, I set off for the pound where he said it would be.

He was right, my car was there, but what I didn’t think about was that I would have to pay to get my car out! I didn’t have a cent on me and had to phone my mom to help me out.

What I didn’t know was that her boss offered to come through with the money she was lending to me.

When he arrived, I was apparently standing in the middle of the pound screaming and shouting because they had taken all my kids toys out of my car and issued me with a fine on top of having to pay to get the car out.

When I realized what had happened, I thought the day couldn’t get any worse. After sorting everything out and my mom’s boss had left, I realized I did not have a clue where I was and I found myself driving in the opposite direction of a one way road!

I eventually got home safely and when I was offered the job I actually turned it down because I couldn’t bare the idea of driving there every day.

Years ago, I woke up with an upset stomach on the morning of a job interview. When I arrived to the interview at 12pm I was nervous, but stayed calm and collected.

After all introductions, the panel began grilling me and in the middle of it all, my I started releasing gas uncontrollably.  I was so embarrassed, but some of the panel members started laughing.

The irony in this I got the job at the end.
