So it is very important to attend all the conferences you can find, and join all the professional organisations in line with your career goals. This lets prospective employers know you are eager to learn and shows them how serious you are about your career growth.

3. Overstaying at entry level jobs
We don’t all get our dream jobs straight out of university, so it’s okay if you take a job that doesn’t pay that well, to get your foot into the door, and for experience, especially at a company with a great reputation.
