LifeHack published an article about the reasons why millennials seem to be lazy employees - when they actually have a new way of looking at the working world. According to the article, "millennials are challenging the traditional notion of work" and although they may seem lazy and not work-driven they are quite the opposite, the article explains.

According to Ryan Jenkins who is a millennial and generation Z speaker, millennials demand a healthier work-life balance from their employers because they value it more than previous generations. The reason for this is that, "Millennials are entering a stage of life when they are marrying, buying homes, and having children at the same time that the demands of work are increasing, while they are equipped (and sometimes expected) to work 24/7," explains Ryan in article on the Inc. website

However some millennials are still in their early 20s and have different aspirations to millennials who are in their 30s. So putting all millennials in the same category especially when it comes to how they view the working in environment could be misleading.
