7 of the highest-earning YouTube stars

accreditation
There are many platforms on which one can make money online and YouTube is another one. But actually making money from YouTube is not easy. There are a lot of one-hit wonder YouTube stars and videos, but if you’re serious about making money on a consistent basis using this medium, then you're in for a tough time.

According to DMR, over 300 hours of videos per minute are uploaded every day, so the scale is enormous. So if you’re an aspiring vlogger, your video needs to stand out above the rest.

There are two ways to make money on YouTube:

•    Ever wonder why you have to watch those five second ads before you can resume your video? Well, that happens when you become a YouTube partner. This means that YouTube pays you for those ads (only when the ad isn’t skipped by the viewer) and the total amount of views that your video gets. Note, that this amount will vary according to your personal clout.

•    Get sponsored campaigns where companies pay you to promote their products or services.
