Here's to not being broke this Christmas (ha ha)

So I’m going to be completely frank with you. There really is only one way to stay within budget over the festive season. That way is to have an enormous, inexhaustible budget.  

It’s ridiculous. Every year I vow to plan better, save better, spend less and basically not get myself into crippling financial dire straits. Every year I fail miserably.

To be fair, it’s not entirely my fault. The holiday season is essentially designed to bankrupt a person. First there are the endless parties, social events and general silly season hijinks which will have you out and about and bleeding money.
