Medical student makes R91 400 a month selling pictures of her feet to her 106 000 Instagram fans

Sweet Arches, a medical student from Portland, U.S. is proof that the perfect pedi can take you far.

She's putting her best foot forward and financing her studies by raking in nearly $5 000 a month (about R91 400) selling pictures of her feet on Instagram.

The 28-year-old has built up an army of 106 000 fans on Instagram and gets up 100 messages a day. But fancy foot work may not be an easy way to a fortune - Sweet spends up to 10 hours a day on the side hustle.

She gets some pretty interesting requests – from crushing fruit with her toes to fans asking to smell her boots.

Sweet says her friends and family fully support what she does, and her goal is to be able to help her mum to retire.
