The Instagram rich list: Kylie Jenner gets paid R13 million and Beyoncé only gets R9.2 million per post
Kylie Jenner was predicted by Forbes to be on her way to becoming the youngest “self-made” billionaire ever. They recently estimated her net worth at roughly $900 million and they say she’ll probably cross the billion dollar mark by age 21.
Which would kick Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg right out of the top spot (he reached the top spot when he was 23).
But it looks like Kylie’s lip kits aren’t solely responsible for her massive fortune. According to the annual Instagram Rich List by Hopper HQ, Kylie is the top earner on Instagram and asks for a rather large sum of $1 million (over R13 million) per post. That’s even more than her sisters, Kim and Kendall, who ask for $720 000 (nearly R9.5 million) and $500 000 (nearly R6.6 million) respectively.
But what about Beyoncé? Well, she’s only fifth on the list charging $700 000 (R9.2 million) per post, but the weird thing is she has more followers. And so do Selena Gomez (second on the list with $800 000/ over R10.5 million), Cristiano Ronaldo (third on the list with $750 000/ nearly R9.9 million) and Kim Kardashian.
It looks like Beyoncé’s social media reach and prowess should have been clear when Kylie knocked her off the top spot for most liked Instagram picture in February this year.
On February 1 2017, Beyoncé posted her pregnancy announcement where she told the world that she and Jay Z were expecting the twins we now know as Sir and Rumi Carter. It quickly became the most liked Instagram post ever with over 11 million likes.
But then, nearly a year after Bey’s record, Kylie posted a photo announcing her baby’s name, Stormi Webster, and the picture is now the most liked Instagram post with close to 18 million likes.
Looks like even Queen Bey can’t touch Kylie Jenner.
